So today was the first day of my journey. Overall, I have to say I feel so good and refreshed. But y’all….my abs and thighs are on fire!!! When I went to take a shower, I could barely lift my leg up to get into the shower.
In the gym I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and 35 minutes of strength training. I’m not even going to lie to you, the struggle to get through this workout though.. was difficult, but i did it. The most important thing is to never give up. You can rest, but never quit.
To get me through this workout I had to have a very lit playlist on my ipod. I’m not a person that creates playlist. I just like to have all my songs together, but for the gym or for the sole purpose of working out, I created a list. I think most of my songs I had to get me through was Beyonce….Yes! you knew it. Lol. And then Rita Ora. One of mt favorite songs by her is ” How we do”. It’s a very fun song to me.
I’m trying to stay away from juices and soda. I’ve never really been a big soda fan anyways, but sometimes I get the urge which is okay for me every now and again. But today I’m starting with water. I’m back to my favorite…Lemon Water. It gives me so much life.
Tonight ya girl has to go to bed at a decent time. I struggle with that, but that’s okay. I’m going to get it. I will let you guys know how that went. But this is just a post to check in. Thank you for your support and I love you….Now I’m about to relax with a healthy meal while sitting my butt on the couch enjoying a movie. ❤
